n 1978 the Mercury Marine National Walleye Tournament was born in Fond du Lac with hopes to build a festival around it. Today, Walleye Weekend lures over 50,000 people to Lakeside Park with its extensive family entertainment, national, regional and local music acts, sporting events and many other attractions. All attractions and entertainment, admission and shuttles for the yearly celebration are completely free to the public. The success of Walleye Weekend can be attributed to the support from the community, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

52nd Street at “Bands at the Beach.” This is a free Friday night concert series, performed in the Rhodee Memorial Band Shell located on the shore of Lac La Belle at City Beach. 324 W. Wisconsin Avenue Oconomowoc, WI

Summer Sounds on the Green brings great music to the Village Green across the street from the Sears Centre on select Thursdays during the summer months. The venue provides a Ravinia-like experience with a large lawn area that offers plenty of space for concert-goers to set up foldable chairs and picnic areas. Pack your own food and drinks or check out the great concessions the Village Green offers!

52nd Street return to the beautiful Boerner Botanical Gardens for their Summer Concerts in the Garden series. The Concerts in the Gardens is a summer event proudly sponsored by Wimmer Communities, which is held at The Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, Wisconsin.

Performances occur every Thursday throughout the summer beginning at 6:30 p.m. and end at approximately 8:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted.  Admission to The Boerner Botanical Gardens to attend the summer concerts is free. Attendees are welcome to walk through the gardens after 6:00 p.m. at no additional cost.

These concerts allow Milwaukee residents the opportunity to appreciate the The Boerner Botanical Gardens while enjoying a mixture of musical genres.  Food and beverages are available for purchase at the concerts, however, guests are also allowed to bring their own food.
